Arunachal Pradesh: 6 NSCN (IM) insurgents killed, ammo dump recovered
Indian security forces has gunned down 6 extremists in Arunachal Pradesh. The extrimists belong to National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) which is a banned separatist outfit seeking an independent country for Nagas called Nagalim. The operation to seach and eliminate these extremists was conducted by Assam Rifles forces deployed in the area based on the intel provided by the intelligence agencies. One soldier of Assam rifles has also faced injuries. A huge cache of ammunition was also recovered from the insurgents.
