Army Day special: Captain Tania Shergill becomes first woman to lead men's contingent

Breaking the glass ceiling, Captain Tania Sher Gill from the Corp of Signals, will be the first female to lead an all men contingent at the Army Day Parade to be held on Wednesday. Sher Gill, who has done B Tech in electronics and communications, was commissioned in Mar 2017 from OTA Chennai. Her father, grandfather and great grandfather were also in Indian army. 

Army Day is celebrated on January 15th every year.
