Ajit Pawar sworn-in as the Deputy CM of Maharashtra

Ajit Pawar, NCP leader and nephew of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, has been sworn-in as the deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra for a record fourth time. It is important to note that Ajit Pawar had also been appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister in the short-lived BJP-NCP alliance government which held sway for just three days in the state.
