Ahmedabad: 22 die due to Coronavirus in 24 hours

Coronavirus (Covid-19) cases have exploded in Gujarat. The state has accounted for over 7000 cases – second only to Maharashtra in national tally – and over 400 people have died.

Ahmedabad has accounted for over 70 percent of those deaths with 22 Covid-19 fatalities in the past 24 hours. Two senior doctors from AIIMS Delhi have been sent to Ahmedabad to monitor the situation.
