After Delhi, Rajasthan govt announces weekend curfew

In the wake of significantly rising Coronavirus cases, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot-led Rajasthan government has announced a weekend curfew in the state from 6 pm on April 16 (Friday) till 5 am on April 19 (Monday).

As per reports, Rajasthan Home Minister Anil Vij will issue detailed guidelines on the weekend curfew soon.

The announcement was made by CM Gehlot on Thursday evening on micro-blogging site Twitter. "Due to increasing cases of Corona, curfew will remain in Rajasthan from 6 am tomorrow till to 5 am on Monday. I appeal to all of you to cooperate with the government during the curfew and follow the Covid appropriate behaviour," he tweeted in Hindi.
