For the last 11 years, Noor Mohammad has been taking care of two temples in his village of Lagripura in Anantnag, Kashmir. In a special conversation with ABP News, Noor Mohammad Dar told that when the situation in Kashmir worsened in 1989, the Kashmiri Pandits living in their village left their homes overnight and did not return.
Kashmiri Pandits left behind a Shiva temple and a Kheer Bhavani Maa temple. The houses of Kashmiri Pandits are still locked. According to Noor Mohammad Dar, he went to Jammu several times and asked Kashmiri Pandits to come back but he did not return till today. Dar says that Hindu-Muslim-Sikh-Christian are all one and the brotherhood of Kashmir is different from the whole world.
