Former president Ramnath Kovind performed the handing over ceremony in front of the Jaipur column in the forecourt of President's house, where newly appointed President Draupadi Murmu have a change of guards to the presidential security officials. She took over the responsibilities of the President from Kovind as the officials first gave her the first salute.
