Delhi Govt lowers legal age for liquor consumption to 21 years

Arvind Kejriwal-led Government of Delhi has reduced the legal age of alcohol consumption. It has been reduced from 25 to 21 years. Manish Sisodia, said, "Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has taken a big decision to clamp down on the liquor mafia in Delhi. Along with this, Anonymous liquor shops will be closed in the national capital." He further added that, no new liquor shops will be opened in Delhi.
