Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announces 'Agnipath' scheme | ABP News

Defence Minister, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Naval Staff and Chief of Air Staff announced the "Agnipath Mission" at a press conference. 

Agnipath is a recruitment scheme to encourage the youth of India to join the Defence Forces. They proclaimed that Indian warriors will be known as "Agniveer". The Defence Minister aims to make the Indian Defence Forces renowned globally.
