The political parties have been attacking the Narendra Modi government over the launch of Agnipath Scheme. Leaders like Priyanka Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi have been demanding that the scheme should be pulled back.
The Ministry of Defence launched the Agnipath scheme to encourage the enrolment of youngsters in the Indian Armed Forces.
