A mysterious blast that took place at a private school in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama on Wednesday afternoon left over 20 students injured. As per latest reports, the injured students had to be rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The injured students have been shifted to PHC Kakpora for treatment. Generally, at this time of the year, almost all schools in the state remain closed for winter vacations. The cause of the blast is yet to be ascertained. It is still hazy whether it was an IED blast or not.
Jawed Ahmed, who teaches at the school, said: "I was teaching and then suddenly an explosion occurred. I cannot say how many students are injured."
