A major fire broke out in a telephone exchange building in Mumbai's suburban Bandra area on Monday, civic officials said. Fire broke out at the MTNL exchange building at S V Road in suburban Bandra in the afternoon. PTI quoted an official as saying that around 40 people could be trapped on the terrace of the building. As per latest reports from the incident, fire brigade officials had rescued around 15 people from the terrace of the building with the help of a crane. Around 25 people are still believed to be stranded.
