Muharram: Sending the message of martyrdom

Muharram is one of the most significant festivals celebrated by the Muslim community as it marks the beginning of the Islamic New Year. Many from Shia sect observe this day by participating in processions and self-flagellation while Sunni Muslims fast all day long from sunrise to sunset.
