Maharashtra Municipal Elections: BJP leads in Sangli
Counting of votes for the 78-member Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Municipal Corporation (SMKMC) and the 75-member Jalgaon Municipal Corporation (JMC) are underway and results are expected to be declared soon.
The polling the two seats began on 1st August for the 78-member SMKMC in Western Maharashtra and the 75-member JMC in North Maharashtra.
