A bench led by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi on October 29 had postponed the hearing pertaining to Allahabad High Court’s decision of dividing the disputed Ayodhya land into three parts till January 2019. The Allahabad High Court in its order in 2010 had distributed the land into three parts – Ramlala, Nirmohi Akhada and Muslim groups.
Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi while hearing the plea said that “we have decided for a hearing in the case in first week of January and we have no need to hold an urgent hearing in the case. A plea was filed by Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasaha, which has been declined by the court.
