16-nations take part in Milan Exercise. These exercises have been organised by India once every two years. Navies of a number of nations in the Indo-Pacific region are invited to take part in the joint security exercises. This year, navies and coast guards from 16 countries will take part in the exercises in the seas off the coast of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, close to the entrance to the Malacca Strait. Milan 2018 will take place for eight days, from March 6 to 13.
