FULL: Rahul Gandhi trails in Amethi, BJP inches in UP

Though Congress President Rahul Gandhi didn’t seem to have left a mark on the hearts of Amethi, as per the early trends; he surely impressed the voters of Wayanad in Kerala, which is second constituency from where the leader is contesting.  However, leader’s opponent Smriti Irani was leading by 2000 votes from Amethi seat.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several union ministers, BJP chief Amit Shah, Congress president Rahul Gandhi and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi are among key leaders who contested the polls.
