FIR registered against West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee over 'civil war' remarks
A complaint has been lodged against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Bannerjee in Dibrugarh police station in Assam following her civil-war statement over National Register for Citizens (NRC) in Assam.
In the F.I.R it has been mentioned that ‘Mamata is trying to disrupt the peace’.
The complainant has also given a video of Mamata Bannerjee as a proof of the incident.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday warned that exclusion of 4 million people from National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Assam could lead to "bloodbath" and a "civil war" in the country.
She also accused the Modi government of trying to make millions of people "stateless" in Assam for political gains.
