Fashion designer murdered in Delhi; 3 accused surrender

A double murder incident in New Delhi’s posh area Vasant Kunj was reported in the early hours of Thursday. Those deceased have been identified as 53-year-old fashion designer Mala Lakhani and her domestic help named Bahadur aged above 50 years. Three accused of the murder, including a tailor who worked for her, have surrendered, police said.

The bodies of the deceased were sent for post-mortem examination in the morning and an investigation was initiated. A fashion designer by profession Mala Lakhani used to live at A-82, Vasant Kunj Enclave.
