Encounter breaks out in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara

 An encounter started between the security forces and holed up terrorists on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district near 2 am.

Police said security forces started a cordon and search operation in village of Kupwara district following specific information about the presence of terrorists there.

After the terrorists opened fire, the gun battle turned into an encounter.

There are no reports of any terrorist being killed till now but for the prevention measures, internet services have been suspended.
