Winds have changed their direction since afternoon of November 21 over the capital region of Delhi and are now flowing from northwest direction. This has resulted in decrease in the long-prevailing pollution levels over Delhi-NCR. Today, pollution levels were comparatively lower than other days.
The effect of winds has been felt on the minimum temperatures as well. Minimums have dropped by about a degree and at present, they are near normal. If we look at the pattern, minimum temperatures have witnessed a gradual fall since November 19.
