Delhi: I-T raids at 22 locations over Lalu Yadav’s ‘benami’ land deals worth Rs 1K Cr

New Delhi: Income Tax department on Tuesday conducted raids and surveys at twenty two locations in the New Delhi and Gurugram; with regards to ‘benami’ land deals worth 1,000 crore involving RJD Chief Lalu PrasadYadav. This isn’t the first land scam that has been hanged around Lalu’s neck. Earlier, BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi had accused Lalu of acquiring benami property worth Rs 950 crore in Patna.
