Chhota Shakeel’s brother detained in UAE, India to seek extradition

The Dubai Police detained Anwar Babu Sheikh, the brother of missing mafiosi Chhota Shakeel. ABP News sources say that Indian Embassy officials are in touch with UAE authorities to seek his extradition. However, Pakistan is also trying to get consular access as he was travelling with a Pakistani Passport.

Sheikh, who is wanted in Mumbai and Thane in connection with several offences, was detained and questioned by the Dubai Police at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Among other things, Sheikh is wanted for allegedly coordinating the Mumbai serial blasts from a location abroad.
