Chandrayaan 2: PM Modi requests Indians to witness landing of moon lander Vikram
India's first moon lander Vikram is all set to land on the moon on September 7 with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Vikram is scheduled for a powered-descent between 1 am and 2 am on Saturday, followed by the touchdown of the Lander, carrying rover Pragyan, between 1.30 am and 2.30 am on the unexplored lunar south pole.
PM Modi on Twitter wrote, "The moment 130 crore Indians were enthusiastically waiting for is here! In a few hours from now, the final descent of Chandrayaan 2 will take place on Lunar South Pole. India&the rest of the world will yet again see the exemplary prowess of our space scientists."
