Tonight is going to be a historic night for over a billion people in the country as the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will finally attempt soft-landing of the Chandrayaan 2 on Moon's south pole surface. Launched on July 22, Chandrayaan 2 will attempt a touchdown near the moon’s south pole in wee hours of Saturday. Chandrayaan-2's lander Vikram along with a rover 'Pragyan' is currently revolving around the Moon and will begin its descent on to the lunar surface shortly after midnight.
