Bulandshahr: Cop's wife says 'received threats when probed Akhlaq case'

The family of inspector Subodh Kumar Singh, who lost his life on Monday in a mob attack in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr, has claimed a conspiracy in his killing saying the cop was killed because he probed the Akhlaq lynching case in 2015. Calling the murder of Kumar as pre-planned, his wife Rajani asked the police to reveal the names of those involved in this "conspiracy". She also said their family had received several threats in the past when Kumar took up probe in the infamous lynching of Mohammad Akhlaq in Dadri.
