Speaking on the incident, accused police constable said "I tried to stop his car but he didnt stop, thereafter he reversed his car thrice and tried to hit our bike with his car, hence I fired the gunshot in self defence".

Speaking on the incident, Lucknow SSP said, “The car was crossing but the driver didn’t stop, so one of the policemen fired a bullet, post which the car hit the divider and the man suffered several head injured, post which he was rushed to the hospital, where he lost his life”.
