Barabanki Spurious Liquor case: Main accused Pappu arrested

Twelve persons have died after consuming spurious liquor in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki district. Four of the victims belong to one family.Official sources, however, put the death toll at six. The incident took place in Raniganj of Ramnagar area. Nearly two dozen persons have been admitted to the district hospital in a serious condition.All the victims had purchased liquor from a government outlet leased to one Danvir Singh and minutes after consuming the same, they complained of loss of eyesight.
