65 lakh devotees to take holy dip in Sangam on second day of Shahi Snan

On the pious occasion of Paush Purnima, which will mark the second auspicious bath of Kumbh -- the confluence of rivers Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati, lakhs of devotees shall throng to the site to take a dip in the Triveni Sangam. At Kumbh Mela, the Purnima (full moon) day will also mark the beginning of Kalpwas.
Elaborating on the significance of Paush Purnima, Shankarcharya Adhokshanand said, "Paush Purnima is a significant day for the Hindus which falls on the full moon day of Paush in the Hindu calendar.
