The Delhi Patiala House court pronounced quantum of punishment to the two convicts Naresh Sherawat and Yashpal Singh in 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Naresh Sherawat gets life imprisonment, Yashpal Singh gets death penalty in 1984 anti-Sikh riots case. The case pertains to the killing of two people in Mahipalpur area of South Delhi during the riots.This comes after Additional Sessions Judge Ajay Pandey reserved the order for November 20. Naresh Sherawat and Yashpal Singh have been accused of killing Hardev Singh and Avtar Singh in Mahipalpur area of South Delhi during the riots.
