The government has asked social media platforms TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and ShareChat to take down videos of the ‘skull-breaker’ challenge, which has resulted in serious injuries among people. The social media challenge was first popularised on short video app TikTok and then went on to become popular on other social media websites as well.
