Calls For Global Ban On TikTok Grow
US President Donald Trump has hinted that Washington was looking at banning Chinese social media apps, including TikTok. TikTok, banned in China is owned by China-based startup ByteDance. The app has been repeatedly criticized by US leaders of being a threat to national security because of its ties to China.
