Questions have been raised about the role of Facebook regarding the riots in Delhi. In this regard, the Peace and Harmony Committee headed by Delhi Assembly MLA Raghav Chadha issued a summons to Facebook India. The summons was issued in February, before and during the riots in Delhi, on the presence of inflammatory content on Facebook. Facebook officials did not appear in response to the first summons. He sent a written reply and told that a committee of Parliament is considering a similar case. When the committee sent summons again, the officials of Facebook India reached the Supreme Court. The bench headed by Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul issued a notice to the Legislative Committee itself and sought an answer. Apart from this, while deciding the date of the next hearing on October 15, the court said that the Assembly Committee will not take any action against the officers of Facebook India. ABP News correspondent Nipun Sehgal is explaining the matter in detail.
