The Supreme Court has dismissed the petitions which raised questions against the authenticity of PM Cares fund. SC agreed that PM Cares is different from NDRF, and thus the funds in PM Cares can't be transferred to NDRF. This decision was taken by a bench headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan. Center for Public Interest Litigation (CPIL) had alleged that there wasn't a need to setup PM Cares when NDRF was already there.
