Supreme Court asks the centre for a solution to send the migrant workers back home. The government has a week to come up with an answer to this. A petition was filed by lawyer Prashant Bhushan, which says that migrant workers are unemployed and don't have money or food. Being away from home in this condition steals away their basic rights and requests that they are sent home after a Corona test. General Solicitor Tushar Mehta counters the argument stating that "If a person tests negative today on a Corona test, doesn't mean that the person cannot show symptoms later. The petitioner of the PIL thinks that he is most concerned about migrant works, but he should let the government do their job." Mehta also presented a Tweet by Bhushan that accused the SC of taking the centre's side and not supporting those in need. This made Justices N.V. Raman, Sanjay Kishan Kaul, and B.R. Gavai, ask Bhushan why they should listen to him if he doesn't trust the court and if after working for over 30 years with the court does he still think that the court sides with the centre.
