'Himvir': LAC Peaks Dominating China, How These 'Snow-levers' Became A Point Of Tension For China

The ITBP was established in 1962 at the time of the India-China War and the main charter is to guard the China border. Two-thirds of the border (LAC) adjacent to China is at a high altitude which is an important part for rock-climbing and trekking training to all the snowmen. There is snow on every side and the ITBP personnel are stationed there, that is why the ITBP jawans have also been named as 'Himvir'. Watch this video to know more about this.
