Facts and China’s official statements have a wide gap and the country was accused of hiding details about the virus. One of the news that triggered this was the sudden disappearance of an informant about which the Chinese government remain silent. Is China trying to hide something? The crackdown began when Dr. Li Wenliang from the Central Hospital in Wuhan and seven other doctors received a notice from the government after they warned their colleagues about the emergence of SARS-like disease and advised them to wear protective clothing.
