On May 26, 38 new cases of coronavirus were reported from Mumbai's Dharavi, the biggest slum area in Asia. According to reports, Mumbai has more patients of COVID-19 than hospital beds available in the city. Internationally, Mumbai and Singapore can be compared to having similar number of coronavirus cases, where in the first week of May 500 cases were being reported every day, last week it reached slightly up to 1,000 cases per day and now more than 1,200 cases are being reported every day.
