In a plea to the World Health Organization (WHO), 239 scientists from around the world urged the health body to recognize airborne transmission of the novel Coronavirus. Scientists said that they believe that the airborne transmission route is highly virulent and dominant for the spread of COVID-19. The WHO has maintained that Coronavirus is primarily transmitted by respiratory droplets expelled by infected people.
