According to some reports, a chunk of moon is up for sale at the Christie’s auction house in London. The asking price for the lunar meteorite is around two million pounds. It was found around two years back in the Sahara Desert, where it likely fell after being hit by a comet. This lunar chunk was named NWA-12691 by the scientists. Earth has about 650 such pieces of moon and this is said to be the fifth biggest piece.
