Extremely backward and tribal-dominated Nandurbar district started a battle with Covid last year with just 20 beds. Today, there is a strong healthcare system to control the epidemic with 1,289 beds in hospitals, 1,117 beds in Covid Care Centers and 5620 beds in rural hospitals.
