In a bizarre incident, a woman in the United States accidentally used superglue mistaking them for eyedrops. In a video shared on the microblogging site X, formerly Twitter, the woman is narrating her story about how she ended up in the emergency room after mistake. Jennifer Eversole, a resident of of Santa Rosa, California had first shared her ordeal on TikTok.


As reported by  People Magazine, the incident took place in June this year and gone viral. Later, it was shared on other social media platforms and has once again caught the attention of the internet users.


In the video, Jennifer can be heard saying, "Well, I've gone and done it. I have won the most idiot person award. My eye drops sit directly next to superglue and they're the same size bottle and I wasn’t paying attention and now my eye's glued shut."


"And then I shut my eye really fast. And I don't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing because it didn't get on my eyeball that much. And maybe it wouldn't have glued my eyes shut if I hadn't shut them, but I don't know what would have happened. It could have been worse," she further says.






After the incident the woman was rushed to the emergency ward where the doctors used numbing eye drops to open her eyes.


Since being shared, the video has amassed over 2 lakh views, 1,291 likes and tons of comments.


On seeing the video on of the user expressed concern and wrote, "Oh my God… i hope she doesn’t loose her sight."






"Wow... At least she can smile thru the pain and discomfort," wrote another user.






"Just never put your eye drops beside your super glue," commented a third.
