Travelling long distances can be tiring for most of us, but when there is a very dear friend or relative waiting for you to arrive, excitement builds up and the fatigue seems to wane. After all you are catching up with the person you vibe the most with. And if that person surprises you with an impromptu dance, the meeting becomes something to cherish.
A similar thing happened at London's Heathrow airport when a Sikh man broke into bhangra on arrival of his friend. A video of the two friends meeting and dancing at the airport has gone viral on social media, with users saying this is one of the best things they have seen in ages.
"This has to be one of the most legendary welcomes at Heathrow Airport," wrote the social media user who shared the video on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
In the 29-second-long video a man is seen emerging from the arrival gate of the airport with his luggage kept on a trolley. And while he is still looking around for the person who has come to pick him up, a person crosses the railing in the waiting area and heads towards him breaking into a Bhangra. Soon the other friend also begins to dance and both hug each other in front of other arriving passengers.
The video of the warm welcome accorded to the friend was appreciated by Twitter users.
"That’s the best thing I’ve seen in ages," wrote a Twitter user on seeing the video.
Another wrote, " Indians are the best when it comes to celebrations 🥳🎉 Happy Diwali to all,"
"Will go anywhere in world...Bhangra, Punjabi and Indians ...will create the perfect environment..salute to every indian...jai hind," writes another user.
