If you travel extensively by the Indian railways, you would have certainly come across some bizarre incidents worth sharing with friends. Here is one hilarious video of a broken water tap at a railway platform that offered "free showers" to passengers. The video shared on the social networking site Twitter shows a tap burst splashing water inside an approaching train, while people rush inside to avoid getting drenched.
The clip also shows passengers sitting near the window seats of the train being caught unaware of the unexpected showers inside the compartments, with many attempting to move out of the path.
The video shared by @craziestlazy on Twitter is captioned "Indian railways at your service" and has garnered over a million views.
Though the exact location of the station has not been verified, it is believed to be somewhere from West Bengal, according to some of the suggestion on the video that cite 'ER' (Eastern Railways) written on the trains.
While watching the 30-second footage on Twitter one of the user wrote, "At least one person could have just closed the tap with cloth or something. I guess we don't care.
"Even Railways know that many have not taken bath in the morning. Hence helping," wrote another user jokingly.
"Isliye Indian railways ko private karna chahye. Sarkari Naukri ke maje bahut hue @PMOIndia," wrote another.
While one wrote, "Nice to see India developing....they started to provide free drinking water inside trains too."
"What is this ………..Holi celebration on Deepawali," mocked another.
