Compassion and kindness are a few traits that people are slowly losing in today's fast-paced world. However, there are some who extend a helping hand to someone in need and also show compassion towards animals. In a picture that has gone viral on the internet, a homeless man can bee seen giving shelter to few dogs with the limited resources available with him.
The picture shared by IFS (Indian Forest Service) officer Susanta Nanda on Sunday with the caption "Our heart has to be large enough to accommodate this big world," has gone viral.
In the clip a homeless man is seen sleeping in front of a shop's shutter with a tiny mattress under him. The man does not appear to hesitate in helping some stray dogs and shares his mattress with them. One can also see an umbrella kept by the man to provide them some shade. There were approximately seven stray dogs sharing the mattress with him.
The picture that was posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter has gone viral and garnered several likes and retweets.
One of the user after seeing the picture wrote, "This man deserves a medal/award for this sir."
"So heart warming!!" wrote a second.
While a third user wrote, "And some seperate new born babies from their mothers n throw them wrapped in plastic bags."
'Wow, God on Earth," wrote a fourth.
