A mother giraffe's strong protective instinct is on display in the clip shared by Gabriele Corno on the microblogging site twitter.

In the clip, a mother giraffe ca be seen standing in a forest area with her calf underneath her. Soon a hyena approaches them but the giraffe makes every effort to keep the calf safe by charging towards it. The scared carnivore runs away instantly.
