A video of some cabin crew members posing and dancing on the wing of a plane has gone viral on the internet. The crew members of the Swiss International Air Lines are now facing an investigation from the bosses for their reckless activity. They were biding time before taking off to Zurich but were caught on camera by a traveller waiting at the airport terminal.

In the video shared on the microblogging site X (formerly Twitter) by Breaking Aviation News & Videos, a female flight attendant can be seen engaged in some dance moves on the wings of the Boeing 777 aircraft. Soon she is joined by a male cabin crew member who does some bodybuilding poses. Two ground crew members are also seen posing for a photograph in front of the plane's engine during the same time.

The video of the incident was recorded earlier this month and has been subject to severe criticism from the Swiss International Air Lines' management.

The airline's came out with a statement condemning the act.

"This behavior will not be tolerated. The behaviour of the employees in the video neither corresponds to our security requirements nor does it reflect the high level of professionalism of our employees," said the airlines.

"The wings of the Boeing 777 are about five meters [16.4 feet] high. A fall from that height onto the hard surface can be devastating," the spokesperson of the airlines, Michael Pelzer further said, according to the New York Post.

The video, since being posted on August 25 has gone viral and accumulated 1.1 million views, 5,358 and tons of comments.

"I thought that particular door is meant to be open for emergency exits only?", commented one user on the post.

"A lot of cabin crew do this though, maybe it’s Just against company policy", wrote another user.

"Calm down !  Those wings can support the weight of a human. Let them have their pictures," commented a third.
