Bomman and Bellie, the protagonists of the Oscar-winning documentary The Elephant Whisperers have become a household name in the country now. Since winning the coveted award, congratulatory messages have been pouring in for the makers and the cynosure of the documentary. The couple recently received a hero’s welcome when they boarded an IndiGo flight.


The video shared by IAS officer Supriya Sahu on Twitter, shows the pilot making an in-flight announcement to welcome the duo. 


"Nice gesture @IndiGo6E," read the caption of the post shared along with the clip.  A text overlay on the video also reads, “Flying to Ooty with the stars of "the elephant whisperers" on board. shoutout to @indigo Airlines for the special mention!," 


The video opens to show the pilot making an announcement about Bomman and Bellie travelling in the flight. He also clarifies that the duo Bomman and Bellie are not actors but the protagonists of the film.






Since being shared, the video has gathered 1,20,000 views and 2,975 likes and tons of comments.
