The internet is replete with videos of bizarre culinary experiments like Masala Jalebi, chocolate Maggi and dal makhani ice cream roll. The latest to join the list is a tea recipe that incorporates apples and a raw egg. Yes, you heard that right. A Bangladeshi cooking channel called the Sultana's Cook is causing a stir online with its bizarre recipe.
Shared on Facebook by user Sultana's Cook, the video opens to show a person roasting tea leaves and sugar together in a pan. Once the sugar melts, the cook adds thin slices of apples and lets the ingredients to boil. After a while a glass of milk is poured into the recipe. Thereafter, comes the surprise as a raw egg is added to the boiled tea. The woman then stirs the mixture well before serving it out in a cup along with sides of boiled egg.
Since being shared, the video has amassed 1.3 million views and tons of comments.
"Brother, I have been seeing so many tea recipes in Facebook these days that it seems that I have to make poisonous tea by mixing the poison of tea," one user commented jokingly on the post.
