The South Indian dish Dosa is amongst the most popular foods in India. From cafes to restaurants to the roadside food stalls, you can find it almost anywhere. Though the ingredients may vary a little depending upon the region, we all love dosa in its classic circular shape. But a video has gone viral on social media showing a street food vendor preparing a dosa in the shape of a panda.
Shared on Instagram page whatsupdilli, a man standing behind a dosa counter can be seen pouring pink coloured batter onto a dosa tawa. Then, he takes some green coloured dosa batter and makes a small round shape from it. After the batter becomes a little crispy, he takes a spatula and removes the extra batter to make the eyes, nose and mouth. After he finishes one can notice that the man has actually drawn a panda on the dosa pan, which is ready to be served to the guest.
Since being shared, the clip has amassed over 2 lakh views and tons of comments.
"Wah!! Never thought I will ever use the word cute for a dosa. This is amazing," commented one user on seeing the video.
"No offences. This is not a dosa. This is just fancy dosa replica with colour and shape with no filling, ghee, butter podi. Come to Namma Bengaluru. PS: I am a ‘Happy North Indian,’ happiest while being settled in South INDIA," wrote another user.
while a third wrote, "Panda Kam, Oggy and the Cockroaches ka Motu jyada lag raha hai."
"Ise kha sakte hai ya kisi bache ke bday pe gift kar de??," wrote a fourth jokingly on the post.
